Wedding bouquets come in all shapes and sizes, round bouquets, cascade bouquets, neat ones, loose ones…the list goes on and which one you will chooses will very much depend on a number of things. Firstly, I would recommend choosing your wedding dress before deciding on what type of bouquet you prefer as the style of your wedding dress will influence the look you want to create. For example, a tight fitting, mermaid style dress might suit a neater, tight bouquet but you might prefer a larger, loose style arrangment if you are having a princess style dress.

Something else to consider is the time of year that you are getting married. Most flowers these days can be imported from overseas but this can mean increased costs so try to choose seasonal UK flowers if you can. You may be decide to tie in your wedding colour scheme with the seasons and light pastel colours look lovely in spring or maybe rustic oranges with berries for autumn.

Whatever size, shape or colour bouquet you decide will compliment your wedding, make sure you book your florist at least 12 month in advance as most get booked up very quickly.

I’m lucky enough to work with some amazing florists on a regular basis, here are some of my recommendations.
