Wow, Wow, Wow!! That pretty much describes my feelings about this particular wedding! One of the reasons that I love being a Wedding photographer in the West Midlands is that as well as being smack bang in the middle of the country (which makes me accessible for sooooo many locations), we also have some REALLY amazing venues right here on our doorstep....but more about that later....
I first met Helen & Matt when they visited my Studio in Stourbridge and I knew straight away that their wedding was going to be fantastic. I started the day off at Helen's Parents gorgeous home where all of the Bridesmaids were milling around, getting ready (and eating gingerbread men!) ..a real haven of excitement. After capturing all of the preparations I headed off to St Peter's Church in Pedmore...a truly stunning place where Spring seemed to have dared to show it's face for the first time this year! The sound of the lawnmower on the cricket pitch next door faded into the background with all of the chatter from the arriving guests, I grabbed some Groom & Groomsmen shots before waiting for the arrival of the bride.
Following a beautiful service we all headed off to Spring Grove House in Bewdley. This amazing venue is set in the grounds of the West Midlands Safari Park and it is quite surreal to have such a Grand building, separated only by a hedgerow from hundreds of screaming thrill seekers on the theme park! The venue itself gave me so many brilliant and interesting things to photograph aswell as some stunning backdrops to use for the formal photos of the day. Helen and Matt's Wedding also took place on Grand National Day....I managed to catch the groom sneaking off with a few others to listen to the results!
These are some of my favourite images...I hope you like them, please feel free to leave a comment for the happy couple, I'm sure they'd love it. Congratulations Matt and Helen...thanks for letting me share your wonderful wedding day.
