I am SO very lucky to do the job that I do! I get to visit the most beautiful places and spend time with the loveliest people. When Sarah and Barry contacted me to ask if I would drive 6 hours to photograph their wedding in a Scottish Castle it didn't take me long to scream YEEEEES via email!!! I set off planning a road trip....and it was also lovely to be able to stop by and visit my dear friend and talented photographer Zoe Barrie
See, this was no ordinary castle...this was Myres Castle and Sarah and Barry's wedding was the first wedding to take place there....ever!!! :)
I feel so honoured to have captured this special occasion, the venue itself is stunning but the new owners have added the lovely apple store (where you can have your ceremony if you so wish) and the brilliant "barnquee"....a mash up of a ban and a marquee.....genius!!!
The wonderful catering and venue dressing was supplied by Lazy Sunday and I'm sure you'll agree that they did a fantastic job.
I'll let the images speak for themselves but I this is one wedding that I would do all over again in a heartbeat!! :)
