You know what I love? Relaxed intimate weddings....especially when they happen to be held in a gorgeous country pub!!
Rachael & Neil booked me for their July wedding and friendly and relaxed were definitely the order of the day. Rachael decided that she preffered not to have any bridal preparation photographs so I headed straight to the church to meet Neil and the guests. After the beautiful ceremony we set off for the Bridges Pub in Rattinghope. If you have never been to this pub then you are missing a treat. Popular with dog walkers, cyclists, horse riders...it was the perfect backdrop for Rachael & Neil's wedding day.
A marquee had been erected in the beer garden, complete with long picnic tables and hesian table clothes, tin can candles and SO much gypsophela. Guests were relaxing on the hay bales, children and dogs playing in the river....such a perfect day.
I chose the fields behind the pub for some gorgeous couple portraits as well as the little lane then runs in front of the pub...just goes to show that you can have gorgeous wedding photographs absolutely anywhere!
